First Project, School Magazine: Research of Magazines

FASHIZBLACK Magazine
The look is simple yet crazy fierce
Catalogue Magazine Singapore, Issue 95
For their Pride issue (love the simple way in which they announce it with "Subject:_____") they've created a very unique image of a (fashionable) leopard/tiger by mix-and-matching different patterns and pictures. It's a bit out-there, but I would say successful.
Pagina, International Review Graphic Design Magazine Cover
Love the beautiful simple old covers. Made between 1962-1965. Simple, yet eye-catching.
Time Magazine
Love the way the elephant is used on the front cover. Its like showing but yet not really showing. Love the simplicity!
The New Yorker Magazine
VanityFair Magazine
The colors- the intensity it brings, typography works well together. The sub stories do not bring your attention away from the main story. Very successful. Touch of green calms the red. Brings balance.
Interview Magazine
Simple Magazine Cover by Youngahh
Once again, love the contrast of a strong color against a very simple and plain background. Really makes your attention go towards the face instantly. Super duper successful. Mind my language. Red used in a subtle yet eye catching way, not in a gruesome or harsh manner. Successful!
